Dr. Ching-Min Chen, RN, DNS, FAAN

Distinguished Professor, Department of Nursing, National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan

Distinguished Professor Ching-Min Chen received her Doctor of Nursing Science from the Indiana University, USA in 1995. She is the President of Taiwan Nurses Association (TWNA) and Distinguished Professor of Department of Nursing, National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan. Professor Chen had been the President of the Office of International Affairs and Vice Director of the Research Centre for Humanities and Social Sciences of the university and the legislator of the Legislative Yuan in Taiwan. She was also the President of Taiwan Community Health Nursing Association. Over the years, Professor Chen has been dedicated to the areas of healthy community building, and gerontological and long-term care.

Dr. Ogcheol Lee, RN, PhD

Professor, Red Cross College of Nursing, Chung-Ang University, Korea

Dr. Ogcheol Lee has been a professor at Chung-Ang University for 30 years and a nationally and internationally well-known disaster nursing expert. She finished her MPH from Seoul National University, PhD from Yonsei University, and her post-doctoral fellowship at Johns Hopkins University. She established the Korean Society of Disaster Nursing in 2010 and has responded to calls for relief works in domestic and overseas disaster areas, such as Sri Lanka Tsunami. Working with the Korean government, she developed a Korean Framework for Age-specific Safety Education and has conducted global health projects regarding the unmet health needs in African and Asian countries. She has been Chairperson of the World Society of Disaster Nursing since 2019.
