Ching-Min Chen, RN, DNS, FAAN

Distinguished Professor, Department of Nursing, National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan

Distinguished Professor Ching-Min Chen received her Doctor of Nursing Science from the Indiana University, USA in 1995. She is the President of Taiwan Nurses Association (TWNA) and Distinguished Professor of Department of Nursing, National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan. Professor Chen had been the President of the Office of International Affairs and Vice Director of the Research Centre for Humanities and Social Sciences of the university and the legislator of the Legislative Yuan in Taiwan. She was also the President of Taiwan Community Health Nursing Association. Over the years, Professor Chen has been dedicated to the areas of healthy community building, and gerontological and long-term care.

Jing Wang, PhD, MPH, RN, FAAN

Dean & Professor, Florida State University College of Nursing, USA

Jing Wang, PhD, MPH, RN, FAAN is Dean and Professor of the Florida State University College of
Nursing, President of the Asian American/Pacific Islander Nurses Association, and Board of Directors
at National Coalition of Ethnic Minority Nurses Association.
Her research focus is on digital health and health equity, where she uses mobile and connected health
technologies for high tech high touch care and aging in place, especially among underserved
populations and communities. She’s an elected Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing, and
Editor-in-Chief of JMIR Aging.
Wang received MSN and PhD from the University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing, MPH from its
Graduate School of Public Health, and Graduate Certificate in Clinical and Translational Science from
its School of Medicine.

Education:
Dr. Tassana Boontong, a visionary nurse-midwife leader from Thailand, got her undergraduate nursing midwifery education in Thailand; Master of Science (Adult Psychiatry), and Doctor of Education (Health and Higher Education) from Boston University, Mass, U.S.A.

Career Experience:
She has been well-known in Thailand and internationally. Some of her key

positions included :
President, Thailand Nursing and Midwifery Council; President Thailand Nurses’Association; Dean, Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University, Chairperson of Joint PhD in Nursing Program (a collaboration of 6 institutions)
Vice President of the Senate; Vice-Chairperson National Reform Council; Member of National Legislative Assembly.
Internationally, member of ICN board; member of WHO Global Advisory Group on Nursing; and Chairperson ASEAN Mutual Recognition Arrangement on Nursing Services.
