Taiwan Nurses Association (TWNA) and Asia American / Pacific Islander Nurses Association (AAPINA) have co-hosted The 7th International Nursing Research Conference of World Academy of Nursing Science (7th WANS) under the theme Nurses Together for Global Challenges–Leading Nursing Science and Knowledge Generation Post Global Pandemic on October 18-19, 2022 in Taipei, Taiwan.
This hybrid conference has attracted more than 1,500 participants from 20 countries (Argentina, China, Congo, France, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Mongolia, Philippines, Portugal, Saint Lucia, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, United States, and Vietnam) and selected more than 1,380 abstracts for presentation at concurrent, poster and e-poster sessions, which cover six categories of Nursing Education and Learning, Patient Care and Nursing Practice, Health Systems, Human Resources and Workforce, Digital Health and Infectious Diseases. The conference highlighted the importance of the contributions that our nurses have made during the COVID-19 pandemic and how we develop our profession and find an opportunity and use our strength after the pandemic.
