from AAPINA

Dear World Academy of Nursing Science 7th Nursing Research Conference attendees,

Welcome! We are so excited to have you join us with global leaders in nursing science across the world at the World Academy of Nursing Science (WANS) 7th Nursing Research Conference, jointly hosted by the Asian American Pacific Islander Nurses Association (AAPINA) and the Taiwan Nurses Association (TWNA).

Over the past 2 years, The COVID-19 pandemic has brought unprecedented challenges to nursing and healthcare, that one of us could have predicted. As we enter the new era of living with COVID variants or post-pandemic world, we nurses are seeking ways to innovate, to dream, and to provide equitable access to care for all in need. Nursing represents the largest healthcare workforce and the most trusted profession rated by the American public for over 17 years, we unite in this conference to learn from each other on how we advance nursing research to advocate for better health for patients and better quality healthcare.

I hope you enjoy igniting science, transforming education, and innovating practice for nursing across the world with the sessions we have planned for all of you, to connect and dream for a better future of health and healthcare in the world.

On behalf of AAPINA and my colleagues at TWNA and WANS, I welcome you all, as we gather and celebrate transformative nursing care through nursing science.
